S5•E06 | Old Navy Promotes Poor Health, California’s New & Crazy Laws, Chappelle Provokes Alphabet Gang.

About This Project

“My body my choice” is really over. We’ve exhausted every possible outlet and our culture has embraced something new– the idea that you have no choice. You are a victim of your feelings and we all must accommodate it. What does this mean for Christians in a world gone crazy? The Deep End is here to help drive you to a Biblical perspective rooted in God’s Word. The Truth is it’s HIS BODY HIS CHOICE.

The pinnacle of this may have been found at Yale Divinity School. They are hosting a Divinity of Drag Night where you can find out how a man using his body to pretend he’s a woman is some form of “godliness”.

Then there’s a recent Old Navy ad promoting “size equality” and celebrating obesity. They keep using the word “equality” but they really don’t know what it means because the mantra of our age is that no one feels like they need to change.

The recently re-elected Governor Newsom of California is signing bills into law such as AB 1184 which empowers a child as young as 12 to use their parents health insurance to pay for abortions or transgender treatment without parental knowledge, consent, or permission and has even mandated gender-neutral toy aisles in stores and free menstrual supplies in boys bathrooms.

Lastly, Dave Chappelle is taking heat from the alphabet gang who have become what they fought hard to destroy: the new religious extremists. If you offend them, you are doomed.

Recognize the Following:

  1. There is a battle going on over your body:  the world, the flesh, and the devil.  One third of that battle lives in you.  If you are in Christ, you are different.  You can fight the flesh with the power of the Holy Spirit.
  2. You are not a victim of your feelings or bodily functions or what is going on in your brain. You have a choice.  Jesus Christ died on the Cross for you.  If you believe it and receive it and ask for the Holy Spirit to come into you, He will give you power over your body.
  3. This is a long tough war and just like every war there are days where you advance and days when you retreat but over the long haul you’ll realize how far you’ve come. Even if we lose some battles, we know that through God and Christ Jesus, He will help you win the war.
