Scriptures Studied:
Genesis 1:28 (ESV) And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Judges 7:13–14 (ESV) When Gideon came, behold, a man was telling a dream to his comrade. And he said, “Behold, I dreamed a dream, and behold, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and turned it upside down, so that the tent lay flat.” 14 And his comrade answered, “This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp.”
Judges 7:15 (ESV) As soon as Gideon heard the telling of the dream and its interpretation, he worshiped. And he returned to the camp of Israel and said, “Arise, for the Lord has given the host of Midian into your hand.”
Points to Note:
- Your best resolution: take responsibility for yourself! (because no one else can or will)
- Never before have ordinary people needed to take ownership of their lives as much as today.
- When you play the victim… Someone has to play your hero.
- Christians will NEVER be considered victims by this world. WHICH IS ACTUALLY PERFECT…. Because we aren’t victims. WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS!
- God takes delight in EMPOWERING the powerless.
