About This Project

“Go woke, go broke.”
We’ve all heard it. But, what does the term “woke” really mean?
What’s the problem with going woke?
Can a Christian be semi-woke?

It’s a slippery slope!

We expose the public stances of Christian celebrities such as singer Lauren Daigle, Phil Vischer of Veggie Tales, Pastor Andy Stanley of North Point Church, and others on the issues of Abortion, LGBTQ, Transgender, Biblical authority, and America itself and how the woke influence is seeping into the Church.

We reveal what you need to know about how once Christian-founded companies are going woke.

And we examine the real price of open borders. The woke policies of our president are hurting some of the most woke people in our Country.

James 4:4 (ESV) Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

John 15:19 (ESV) If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

2 Timothy 3:16–17 (ESV) All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

Points to Note:

The definition of “WOKE”:  Racism is humanity’s original sin. Every belief is valid and worthy of respect. equity (equal Outcomes) regardless of effort or Merit is the goal. So open-minded your brain falls out.

Is the Bible equally inspired and equally important?

‣Is everything in the Bible equally important? YES.

‣Because everything in the Bible is GOD-BREATHED.

‣Is everything in the Bible EQUALLY APPLIED? NO.

Old Testament Biblical Example: Exodus 21:1–4 (ESV) “Now these are the rules that you shall set before them. 2 When you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve six years, and in the seventh he shall go out free, for nothing. 3 If he comes in single, he shall go out single; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him. 4 If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master’s, and he shall go out alone.

‣God is limiting the practice of slavery.

‣The Law protects the most vulnerable – women and children.

‣The law is demanding men to take responsibility for wives/children.

New Testament Biblical Example: Matthew 5:17–19 (ESV) “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

The Law:

  1. Restrains evil.
  2. Points to our need for a Savior/Forgiveness.
  3. Directs our moral values/sanctification process.

Pastoral Thoughts:

  1. When businesses go woke, they go broke.
  2. When the Church goes woke, they become a salt-less joke.
  3. America was exceptional before wokeism.
  4. Christians must run from the ideas of wokeness.
  5. You cannot be a Christian and semi-woke.
  6. You must test everything against Scripture.

Questions to Consider:

  1. Examine your walk. Are you allowing any “woke” ideologies into your life?
  2. Are you regularly attending a Gospel preaching Bible-believing church?
  3. Have you fully surrendered your life to Christ?
  4. How will you get involved in standing up for our children against the lies of culture?
  5. Are you regularly practicing prayer and fasting and asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit one more time?
