Just a quick note of appreciation to all those who have lost family members and loved ones in the protection and defense of our country. Where would we be without their duty and honor?

Today is more than just a family cook-out day – it’s a reminder that sometimes the ultimate sacrifice had to be made so others could benefit. I am humbled.

The actions of our memorial day heroes remind us also of the ultimate heroic sacrifice in Jesus Christ.
1 John 4:10 (NIV) says, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

Thank you Armed forces of the past.
Thank you Jesus for saving us from sin.

God Bless you all.

P.S. – a Special “Shout Out” to two sacrificial heroes (Note Twitter Sidebar Widget) who made yesterday possible is on the way . . . more on that in an upcoming church service. Stay Tuned!
