Paul told the Philippians to honor an exceptional servant named Epaphroditus and others who serve the church like him.

Philippians 2:29-30 (NLT) Welcome him with Christian love and with great joy, and give him the honor that people like him deserve.

It’s a good thing, a Biblical thing to honor people who work hard in the church. And we think – it’s time to give some honor to those who serve.

While every January – our church puts on a Volunteer Appreciation Banquet, we believe we can do a bit more. After all volunteers are the lifeblood of Living Waters operations. So many people work behind the scenes to make Living Waters a wonderful place to worship.

So you are going to see some online shout-outs go to specific people from our terrific volunteer team. Keep an eye out on Twitter and Facebook as we honor some of the exceptional servants of our church!

If you haven’t yet added Living Waters as a friend on Facebook – do so here!
And if you aren’t following the church on Twitter – you can do that too right here.

And lastly –
If you aren’t yet contributing time and effort to making the light of Christ shine bright in this community and you want to – come to the Volunteer Class this Sunday at 10:30am or email Shane Parsons at sparsons2@cox.net.
