Waters Church my friend saw Pastor Tim on the television and she loves beards and that's what first caught her attention. I hadn't been in church in some time and was looking for somewhere and knew something was missing from my life. She asked me if we could go because she'd never been brought up in a church or with any religious background. We both knew we needed something. The minute I pulled up, I knew I was home! So blessed to have found Waters. I've been baptized, I'm serving, taking Financial Peace class, and learning who I am meant to be through God and not myself!

My life was a ticking time bomb. I was an alcoholic. I drank from morning to night... I asked God to help me... I didn't want to live anymore. There was nothing to live for... I sat down on my couch and was watching TV and I saw Waters Church and I started listening to it. That's how I ended up here... Jesus changed my whole life.

I recently returned to RI and am watching today’s episode. It resonated to me on so many levels. I was a semi-retired nurse and recently reconnected with God while attending AA and a new church that I attended in Knoxville. ( my semi-retirement home). I feel God’s presence in all aspects of my life and especially in my work and family. Your program showed me why I previously lived the silent world of discontent at home and in my relationships. I know that God played a role in my choices past, present, and future. I live in RI and will try to make it up to your RI Church. I'm from South Carolina. I try to follow The Deep End Podcast every week and also the weekend service. I found you thru a friend whose sister attended there before her passing. We both enjoy it very much. The teaching is very helpful and of course, Pastor Tim Hatch is awesome.

I was flipping through the channels one day and came across this guy with a beard. It drew me in--I guess that's what God how God got my attention. I wanted to see what he was talking about. I didn't know it was church. I was never brought up with church or any religion... I was listening to Pastor Tim and the first thing he was talking about was community and I really needed that... So the next week I was flipping through the channels again and I saw it. I told my friend, 'I need to go here. I need to find out what's going on.

I can't wait for you to post your messages online--namely "I'm a Christian but still...feel empty sometimes", I need to share that. And feel free to share with the pastor granted, I've been coming to Woonsocket for only 6 weeks, that may be one of the most profound sermons of all time. That sermon sealed the deal on becoming members.
