About This Project

📖 Kingdom Come Part 9: Jesus doesn’t just save you—He calls you.

In this Deep Dive through Kingdom Come: Episode 9, Pastor Tim unpacks what it means to follow Christ, leave behind the old life, and allow Him to produce lasting spiritual fruit through you. Whether you’re blue-collar or a business owner, a student or stay-at-home parent—God calls the willing, not the perfect.   🔑 Application for Today:
  • Respond Decisively to Jesus’ Call

    • Is there an area in your life where Jesus is saying, “Follow Me”—but you’re hesitant?

    • Pray for courage to surrender fully and say “yes” today.

  • Reframe Your Career as a Calling

    • Whether you’re a teacher, tech worker, business owner, parent, or student—ask:

How can my skills be used to make disciples?

    • Consider volunteering, mentoring, giving, or leading in ways that align with your strengths.

  • Make Room for Real Community

    • Listening to sermons alone isn’t enough. Join a small group, attend church regularly, and walk with others toward Christ.

  • Seek Spiritual Fruit, Not Just Activity

    • Examine: Am I more loving? Joyful? Peaceful?

    • Fruitfulness isn’t measured in busyness, but in transformation by the Spirit.

  • Embrace the Ministry of Healing and Wholeness

    • Do you need healing—physically, emotionally, or spiritually?

    • Don’t isolate. Reach out for prayer. The Kingdom of God is near—and Jesus still heals.

  • Stand Boldly for the Gospel

    • Stop apologizing for your faith. You are the mail carrier, not the author.

    • Share the good news confidently: Jesus changes lives.

📖 Key Takeaways:

    1. Discipleship Begins with Jesus’ Initiative

      • Jesus calls the disciples; they do not seek Him first.

      • True discipleship starts when Jesus takes hold of your heart—and you respond decisively.

    2. Following Jesus Requires a Reordered Life

      • The disciples “left their nets immediately”—symbolizing a realignment of priorities.

      • Discipleship means Jesus becomes your first allegiance, above work, family, or comfort.

    3. God Uses the Willing, Not Just the Qualified

      • Jesus calls ordinary, hardworking men—not religious elites—to launch a global movement.

      • Your skills, background, and career can be repurposed for Kingdom impact.

    4. Discipleship Happens in Community

      • Jesus calls two sets of brothers—a reminder that we grow in fellowship, not isolation.

      • Spiritual maturity requires church family, accountability, and walking with others.

    5. True Fruitfulness Comes from Abiding

      • A fruitful Christian life is not about trying harder, but trusting deeper.

      • The Holy Spirit produces the fruit; your role is to stay connected to Jesus.

    6. The Gospel Is More Than Words—it’s Power

      • Jesus taught, healed, and cast out demons—demonstrating the inbreaking of God’s Kingdom.

      • The Gospel transforms lives here and now as a foretaste of the eternal Kingdom to come.
