WHY is PREDESTINATION IMPORTANT?
– Because if we are worried about our standing with God, we will never concern ourselves with others.
– If we are worried about our salvation we may only serve others (do good) to ultimately serves ourselves.
– When we feel saved we might boast, when we don’t feel saved, we might self-loath. (Pride/Despair)
– When people disbelieve we may lose heart. But God uses even that to save others.

- Wars have been fought, land has been seized and friendships have been lost over religious belief.
- This is because mankind’s natural religion is ‘I’m a good personism’ that exalts self and demeans others.
- To those defeated and deflated by religion – God says come to me by my Grace and live.
Romans 8 OUTLINE:
- Romans 8:1–11 | The victorious life made possible in the Spirit.
- Romans 8:12–17 | Our status as adopted children of God and heirs with Christ.
- Romans 8:18–30 | The new hope (through groaning) that will lead to final glory.
- Romans 8:31–39 | The absolute certainty of our security in God and unity with Christ.
