What changes after the midterm results? I’m going to say something that you never thought you’d hear a Pastor say.
And how should Christians view the outcome of the mid-term elections? How is America going to change now that abortion bills have passed but student forgiveness didn’t? Why is God allowing it?

Scriptures Studied:
Ecclesiastes 10:5–6 (NLT) There is another evil I have seen under the sun. Kings and rulers make a grave mistake 6 when they give great authority to foolish people and low positions to people of proven worth.
Deuteronomy 7:22–24 (ESV) The Lord your God will clear away these nations before you little by little. You may not make an end of them at once, lest the wild beasts grow too numerous for you. 23 But the Lord your God will give them over to you and throw them into great confusion, until they are destroyed. 24 And he will give their kings into your hand, and you shall make their name perish from under heaven. No one shall be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.
Genesis 15:14–16 (ESV) But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions. 15 As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. 16 And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete.”
Deuteronomy 20:16–18 (ESV) But in the cities of these peoples that the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes, 17 but you shall devote them to complete destruction, the Hittites and the Amorites, the Canaanites and the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, as the Lord your God has commanded, 18 that they may not teach you to do according to all their abominable practices that they have done for their gods, and so you sin against the Lord your God.
Matthew 11:20–24 (ESV) Then he began to denounce the cities where most of his mighty works had been done, because they did not repent. 21 “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. 22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable on the day of judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you. 23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day. 24 But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you.”
Points to Note:
The deception on the value of money and success is real:
- How I came into the world is nullified.
- A human isn’t a human unless the mother carrying it says so.
- Pain at 12 weeks for unborn infants is proven, but facts do not matter.
- My success financially and professionally requires the blood of the unborn.
- This is America 2022.
What the 2022 midterms taught us:
- Young voters
- Ballots not voters
- The single female
Pastoral Suggestions:
Christians:
- Get married and outbreed the pagans.
- Connected to a local church.
- Raise your kids in Christ.
- Stay married no matter what!
- Love your neighbor tangibly and visibly.
- Play the really long game.
