About This Project

What is the purpose and priority of Prayer? What does True worship look like? What is a good prayer?

We live in the NOW and NOT YET reality of the Kingdom. In this study, we look at the symbolic meanings of the feasts of Israel and the parts of the Tabernacle. It is going to amaze you!

Whenever we come close to God, we come close to Him on His terms– not ours. The House of God is where God puts His attention and so should we. The House of God is the only thing that is going to Heaven!

The Seven Feasts of the Lord are pictures of the prophetic events in God’s Cosmic Calendar.

Spring Feasts:

  1. Passover – Christ sacrifice as the spotless Lamb.
  2. Unleavened Bread – Purification from sin.
  3. First Fruits – Christ’s resurrection.
  4. Pentecost – The ingathering of the nations.

{ 4 MONTH BREAK (right now).

Fall Feasts:

  1. Feast of Trumpets – Judgment
  2. Day of Atonement – the eradication of Sin.
  3. Feast of booths – home in heaven.

Feast of Tabernacles Interpreted:

  • On EARTH – the Feast of Tabernacles is a call to live, for a short time, in a temporary tent with God as He has provided all your needs.
  • Cosmically – it’s a call to remember our true home is a dwelling with God in heaven.
    • Zechariah 14:16 (ESV) Then everyone who survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Booths.
    • John 14:1–2 (ESV) “Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. 2 In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?
    • Revelation 21:3 (ESV) And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

Seven Prayer Petitions:

  1. Prayer for Unity in Community
  2. Prayer for Repentance from sin.
  3. Prayer for Purity and righteous living.
  4. Prayer for deliverance Personal Holiness.
  5. Prayer for the Stranger (foreigner) to come home.
  6. Prayer for Victory
  7. Prayer for National Revival

Questions to Consider:

  1. In what ways has God been faithful in your life?
  2. Do you have a love for the Body of Christ?
  3. How do you treat the House of God?
  4. How much of your life is being distracted right now by the things of this world?

Pastoral Thought:

  • Whenever we come close to God we come close to God on His terms, not ours.
  • Christ is the final sacrifice that makes every step of our life possible.
  • Keep a journal and write down how God has been faithful in your life.
  • Worship is about Him and about what He has done in the past, what He is doing in the present, and what He will do in the future.
  • Ask the Lord to develop a spirit in you where you love the people of God.
